What you are listening to
PrismRadio is a free public listening station that plays original AI music made by PrismPoster creators in Music Studio. It is not a licensed commercial catalogue and it is not a playlist of chart music — every track in rotation was generated by someone with an account, who then chose to put it on air. Anyone can listen without signing up, and the station runs around the clock.
That distinction matters if you are a streamer or a video creator. Because the rotation is original generated work rather than commercial recordings, it sidesteps the clearance problem that makes playing chart music on a live stream risky. Creators who want their viewers involved can go further with the PrismPoster stream tools, where chat submits and votes on songs that only air once the creator approves them.
How a track reaches the station
Nothing you generate plays in public by accident. Broadcast is opt-in and off by default, and four things all have to be true before a song enters rotation:

Opted into broadcast
The choice appears when you keep a music variant in Music Studio, and it starts off. Doing nothing keeps a track off the station. The setting is per-track, so putting one song on air never affects the rest of your catalogue.

Publicly released to Discover
Opting in is necessary but not sufficient. A track stays off-air until it is also released publicly to the Discover music charts. Releasing to Discover and PrismRadio is a Creator-plan-and-above feature.

Passed moderation
Every track is reviewed before it can enter rotation, so what reaches the station has cleared the same bar for everyone.

Between one and six minutes
Tracks outside that range are not scheduled. If a song is too short, Music Studio can extend it before you release.

Where the music is made
Every song on PrismRadio started in Music Studio, which is available on every plan including Free. You describe the music you want and either write the lyrics yourself or let the studio write them. From there a track can be developed rather than regenerated from scratch: pull stems to get the individual layers of the mix, extend a track that ends too early, transform one you want reshaped, apply a vocal or stylistic persona, generate cover art, and convert the result to WAV to download.
Tracks stay private to your account unless you release them. When you do export one, the file carries an always-on machine-readable provenance mark written into its metadata — ID3 for audio — on every plan. Nothing is added to the audio itself and nothing is printed on the cover art. Is the music on PrismRadio licensed commercial music?
No. PrismRadio plays original AI music made for streaming in the PrismPoster studio, not licensed commercial tracks. Broadcast is opt-in per track and off by default.
Do I need an account to listen?
No. PrismRadio is a free public station, so anyone can listen in the browser without signing up. You only need an account to create music in Music Studio and choose whether to broadcast it.
How do I get my own track on PrismRadio?
Four things must all be true: you opted the track into broadcast when you kept the music variant, the track is also publicly released to Discover, it has passed moderation, and it runs between one and six minutes. Releasing to Discover and PrismRadio is a Creator-plan-and-above feature, and the opt-in is off by default.
Can I take my track off the station later?
Yes. The broadcast setting is a per-track lever you control, so you can switch radio release off again at any time. Turning it off for one song has no effect on any other track in your account.
