How do I review fan submissions?
Reviewing fan submissions is how you stay in control of what shows up on your stream. When a viewer submits an fan clip made with your verified identity, it does not go anywhere on its own. It lands in your review queue and waits. It only appears on stream when YOU approve it and send it. There is no auto-publish, no timer, and no path that bypasses you. If you never approve a clip, that clip never reaches your overlay.
What does the review step actually do?
The review step puts every single submission in front of you before it can be seen on stream. You look at the clip, then choose to approve and send it or to leave it alone. Approving and sending are your actions. Nothing a viewer does can move a clip past this point.
This is the core promise of Creator Cast: verify one identity once, viewers submit, and the creator reviews EVERY submission.
How do I decide what to approve?
That is your call. You are reviewing content made with your own likeness, so approve only what you are comfortable showing. If something does not fit your stream, simply do not send it. You can also reduce the volume of off-base submissions before they reach the queue by tightening who is allowed to submit — see consent and access gates.
Does approving a clip change anything about my identity?
No. Approving a single clip is a per-clip decision. It does not change your verified identity, your access gates, or your consent settings. If you want to stop submissions entirely or pull your identity, that is handled separately through pause, revoke, and takedown.
What about AI labelling on approved clips?
Fan clips are AI-generated, and PrismPoster applies AI provenance to exports on every plan: a visible label plus an embedded machine-readable mark in the file. You can read more about why content is labelled and the provenance metadata behind it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a clip ever appear on stream if I do nothing?
No. A submission sits in your review queue until you approve and send it. Inaction means the clip stays in the queue and never reaches your stream.
Can I stop new submissions while I review the queue?
Yes. You can pause submissions at any time from your identity controls, then resume later. See pause, revoke, and takedown.
Can I limit who is allowed to submit in the first place?
Yes. Use consent and access gates to restrict submissions to followers, subscribers, or an approved-fan list so fewer off-base clips reach your queue.
