Three things a generic lyric generator gets wrong
Most generators write to a line count and stop there. Rap is measured in bars against a tempo, and the difference shows the moment somebody tries to actually rap it.
Rhymes that survive being spoken
Perfect end-rhyme is the easy pattern and the most obviously generated one. Internal and slant rhymes are what carry a flow, so the scheme is written across the bar rather than only at the end of it.
A hook that is actually a hook
The hook is marked as its own section, kept short enough to repeat and written to sit differently from the verse. That marking is also what lets the studio sing it as a chorus rather than as more verse.

16 is the standard and 8 is the common short version, usually when a hook is doing more of the work. The generator writes to whichever you pick rather than to a word count.

Can I control the rhyme scheme?
You set how hard it leans. A heavy setting stacks internal and multisyllabic rhyme; a light one keeps the ends loose, which is what most modern flows actually do.
Should I write to a beat or write first?
Either works, and the tempo field is why. Give it the BPM of the beat you already have and the syllable weight is counted against that; leave it and you get something you can set to a beat later.
