How do I verify my identity for Creator Cast?
Verifying your identity is the one-time setup that makes Creator Cast work. You complete a consent-based capture of your likeness, you attest that you hold the rights to that likeness, and PrismPoster processes the capture into a verified creator identity. The raw capture frames are deleted immediately after processing — they are not kept around. Once you are verified, viewers can submit fan clips made with your identity, and you review every one before it can appear on stream.
What happens during verification?
Verification is consent-based from the first screen. You agree to the capture, complete it, and the system processes it into the identity used for fan clips. Because this involves your likeness, you also complete a likeness-rights attestation — you confirm the identity is yours and that you have the right to let it be used this way. You verify ONE identity; you do not repeat this for every clip.
What is stored, and what is deleted?
This is the part most creators ask about, so here is the plain version:
- Raw capture frames are deleted immediately after processing. They are not retained after the verified identity is built.
- Your work in PrismPoster is private by default and encrypted at rest and in transit, the same as the rest of your account.
- PrismPoster never publishes or shares anything without your explicit action.
For the full picture of how data is handled and which vendors are involved, see the privacy policy and the sub-processors page.
What does the likeness-rights attestation mean?
When you verify, you confirm you hold the rights to the likeness you are submitting. Creator Cast is for verifying your OWN identity. Do not verify someone else's likeness. Misuse of likeness is covered by the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms.
Can I limit who uses my verified identity?
Yes. Verifying your identity does not open it to everyone. You decide who can submit clips with consent and access gates — for example, restricting submissions to Twitch followers, subscribers, or an approved-fan list.
Can I turn my identity off later?
Yes, at any time. You can pause submissions, revoke the identity entirely, or request a takedown of content. See pause, revoke, and takedown.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my raw verification frames kept on file?
No. Raw capture frames are deleted immediately after they are processed into your verified identity. Your generated work stays private and encrypted in your account.
Can I verify someone else's face?
No. The likeness-rights attestation requires that the identity is yours and that you hold the rights to it. Verifying another person's likeness is not permitted under the Acceptable Use Policy.
Do I need to verify again to change who can submit?
No. Verification is one-time. Access changes are made separately through consent and access gates, and you can adjust them whenever you like.
