Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out prohibited uses of the PrismPoster Service. Violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account as described in Section 7 of the Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited content

You may not use PrismPoster to generate, promote, or distribute content that includes:

• Hate speech: Content that expresses, incites, or promotes hate based on identity (e.g., race, religion, gender, sexual orientation).
• Sexually explicit content: Pornographic or sexually explicit material. Our generation filters block the sexual-content category.
• Sexual violence & non-consensual content: Any content depicting sexual violence, non-consensual sexual acts, or non-consensual deepfakes, synthetic likenesses or voice clones of real individuals. Creating synthetic or deepfake likenesses or voices of real persons without that person's consent is strictly prohibited. A verified likeness may only be set up by the person it depicts.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Strictly prohibited. We remove confirmed CSAM and report it to the relevant authorities as required by law, including Estonian law enforcement and applicable EU reporting channels, as well as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where appropriate.
• Violence & self-harm: Content that promotes, facilitates, or encourages suicide, self-harm, or acts of violence.
• Harassment: Content intended to harass, bully, or threaten individuals.
• Disinformation: Content intended to mislead, defraud, or deceive others (e.g., fake news, medical misinformation, political interference).
• Infringing content: Content that violates the intellectual property or other rights of third parties, including copyrighted works, trademarks, and protected performances you have no right to use.
• Spam and deceptive bulk content: Content generated to spam, flood, or manipulate platforms, rankings, or engagement, or to impersonate others at scale.

2a. Platform abuse

You also may not:

• Circumvent rate limits, quotas, credit accounting, or safety filters.
• Access the Service by automated means outside the documented product surfaces, scrape other users' content, or probe our systems for vulnerabilities outside our responsible-disclosure process (see /security).
• Share, sell, or pool account credentials, session tokens, or API tokens.

3. Generation-specific restrictions

To comply with our upstream generation providers, you adhere to the following restrictions:

• Likeness confirmation: When the pictures you upload or reference show one or more real people, including several people in one picture, you confirm before the render that every person shown is an adult, that you hold the rights to them and the permission of every person shown for AI video, and that the use complies with these rules. One confirmation covers everyone in that render. PrismPoster records that confirmation against your account, with the time, the wording version, the links to the pictures it covered and a fingerprint of those links (never a copy of the pictures), and may produce it to a generation provider on a lawful compliance request. A public profile or a publicly available photo is not permission.
• No automated decisions: Do not use the Service to make automated decisions that may have legal or significant effects on individuals (e.g., hiring, lending, medical diagnosis).
• No reverse engineering: You may not use the Service to discover the underlying models, weights, or training data.
• Disclosure: You must not present AI-generated content as made entirely by a human where people are likely to be misled.
• AI provenance: PrismPoster marks AI-generated output with machine-readable metadata, and some files also carry a C2PA Content Credential on a best-effort basis. On a free account it also adds a visible AI label, as described in Section 2.2 of our Terms of Service; once you have bought any credit pack your exports carry none. Metadata can be lost when a file is edited, re-encoded or uploaded elsewhere, so our markings do not replace your own disclosure. Where content carries no visible label, any disclosure the law requires when you publish it is yours to make, including disclosure of deep fakes under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act; our EU AI Act transparency notice sets out the split of duties. You may not deliberately remove, alter, or obscure the markings PrismPoster applies.

4. Enforcement

We use an automated safety classifier, the safety rules of the AI services that render your media, user reporting and human review to enforce this Policy. If we determine that you have violated this Policy, we may:

• Remove the offending content.
• Suspend your ability to generate new content.
• Terminate your account in line with Section 7 of the Terms of Service.
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement.

5. Reporting violations

If you encounter content on PrismPoster that is illegal or violates this policy, report it. Anyone, with or without an account, can email safety@prismposter.com. Copyright complaints follow our copyright policy.
