What's public vs private on PrismPoster?
On PrismPoster, everything you generate is private by default, and only the specific pieces you explicitly release become public. Your images, videos, and music stay in your account unless you take a deliberate action to publish them. There is no automatic sharing, and nothing is posted on your behalf. This page draws the line clearly so you know exactly what stays private and what — only by your choice — becomes visible to others.
What stays private?
By default, all of it. Your output from the Image Studio, Magic Edit, Video Studio, the timeline editor, Music Studio, and Storyboard Studio lives privately in your Library. Source material and creator context you save stays private too. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Unless you release a piece, no one else sees it. For more on locking things down, see keeping generations private.
PrismPoster also does not collect a real or legal name at signup — just an @username, email, and password — which keeps your registration data minimal. See why we use a username, not your real name.
What becomes public, and only when?
Public exposure happens only through an explicit action you take:
- Releasing to Discover puts a chosen image, video, or track on the public feed at
/discover. See releasing to Discover. - Opting a track into broadcast plays it on the free PrismRadio station. That opt-in is off by default and chosen when you keep a music variant. See the broadcast opt-in.
Each is a separate, per-piece choice. Doing one does not trigger the other, and neither is on by default.
Does PrismPoster post my work anywhere?
No. PrismPoster is a creation studio, not a social publisher. It does not post, schedule, or auto-publish to X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or Facebook. You export your finished file and post it manually wherever you want. Twitch and YouTube connect only for live-streamer tools like the Fan Song Queue and Creator Cast — never for feed posting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my content private by default?
Yes. Every generation is private by default and stays in your account until you explicitly release it. Nothing is published or shared without your action.
Does PrismPoster share my work without asking?
No. Public exposure only happens when you release a piece to Discover or opt a track into PrismRadio broadcast. Both are deliberate, per-piece choices, and both are off until you turn them on.
If I export a file, is it public?
No. Exporting downloads a finished file to you with its AI label and provenance metadata. Where you share that file afterward is up to you — exporting alone does not make anything public on PrismPoster.
