Your generations are private by default
Everything you create on PrismPoster — images, edits, videos, music, storyboards — is private by default. Nothing you generate is published, listed, or shared with anyone unless you take a deliberate public action yourself. There's no automatic posting and no silent sharing. Your work stays in your Library, visible only to you, until you choose otherwise. PrismPoster is a creation studio, not a publisher: you review and export your finished work, and you decide if any of it ever goes public.
Is anything I create made public automatically?
No. Generations are private to your account from the moment they're produced. Public surfaces like Discover and PrismRadio only ever show work that a creator has deliberately released. If you never release anything, nothing of yours appears there.
How does something become public, then?
It takes an explicit choice on your part:
- Discover — you choose to release an eligible image, video, or track to the public feeds and charts. See Releasing to Discover.
- PrismRadio — broadcast release is opt-in and off by default. You make that choice when you keep a music variant; it never happens on its own. See Broadcast opt-in.
Until you take one of these actions, the content remains private. For a side-by-side breakdown of what's visible to whom, read Public vs private.
What about exports I share myself?
When you export a file to post it elsewhere, that's your action and your choice of where it goes. PrismPoster doesn't post to mainstream social platforms for you — you export and share manually. Note that every export carries a visible AI label and embedded provenance metadata, which travels with the file but doesn't make the file public on PrismPoster.
Can I keep something private forever?
Yes. There's no requirement to release anything. You can generate, edit, and export indefinitely while keeping every piece private to your account. You can also exercise your data rights, including deletion, at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my images or videos show up in Discover without my permission?
No. Discover only shows work a creator has chosen to release. If you don't release something, it stays private and never appears in the public feeds or charts.
Is my music broadcast on PrismRadio automatically?
No. Broadcast release is opt-in and off by default. You decide whether a track is shared when you keep a music variant, and you can leave it private.
Does exporting a file make it public on PrismPoster?
No. Exporting produces a file for you to use wherever you want. It doesn't list or publish your work on any PrismPoster public surface — that only happens when you release to Discover or PrismRadio.
