How do I release my work to Discover?
Releasing work to Discover is always a deliberate action you take — it never happens on its own. Your images, videos, and music are private by default and stay in your Library until you choose to publish a specific piece to the public feed. There is no setting that auto-releases your generations, and nothing you make is shown to other people unless you release it. This page explains what release means and how to keep control of it.
How does eligible work become public?
PrismPoster treats publishing as an explicit opt-in:
- You generate or finish a piece in a studio (Image Studio, Video Studio, the timeline editor, or Music Studio).
- The piece sits privately in your Library.
- When you decide a piece should be public, you release it to Discover. That action is what moves it from private to the public feed at
/discover.
Only approved, eligible work appears on Discover. If you never release a piece, it never shows up there.
What counts as eligible work?
Discover's sections accept released images, videos, and music. Music has an extra layer: a released track can appear on the Discover charts, and — separately — can play on the public listening station if you opt that track in. That broadcast choice is described in the broadcast opt-in and is off by default.
Every released item keeps its visible AI label and embedded provenance metadata. That disclosure is mandatory on every export and is never stripped when a piece goes public. See why content is labelled.
Can I keep something private after I make it?
Yes — that is the default. If you do nothing, your work stays private. You can use every studio, build a full Library, and export finished files without anything ever appearing on Discover. For the full boundary, read public vs private and keeping generations private.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will releasing one piece publish my whole Library?
No. Release is per-piece. Publishing one image or track does not expose anything else in your Library. Everything you have not released stays private.
Does releasing to Discover post my work to social media?
No. PrismPoster does not post, schedule, or auto-publish to platforms like X, Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Discover is PrismPoster's own public feed, and to share elsewhere you export the file and post it manually.
Can I keep everything private?
Yes. Privacy is the default state. If you never release a piece, it is never shown to anyone. See keeping generations private for details.
