The editor is the same one behind PrismPoster's Video Studio. It takes the footage you already have, not just what the AI makes.

Drag in MP4, WebM or MOV files and any audio, or pull clips, images and songs you generated earlier from your Library. Everything lands on the timeline as a clip you can move.

Trim, split and stack clips on as many lanes as you need. Add text, auto-generated captions and a microphone voiceover. Where a shot is missing, generate it in place with AI instead of leaving the project.

Export in the shape you need
Pick 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5 and 1080p or 4K. The export renders on our servers and comes back as an H.264 MP4 with provenance metadata, ready to post.

Common questions about the AI video editor
Can I upload my own video files to edit?
Yes. The editor accepts MP4, WebM and MOV video up to 500 MB per file, and MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC audio up to 100 MB. Uploaded files sit on the timeline next to anything you generate and are cut exactly the same way.
Is the AI video editor free?

What does the AI actually do in the editor?
Three things, each on the timeline: generate a new clip from a text description into a gap, extend a clip that ends too early, and create an image or a complete song with vocals for the project. It also transcribes your audio into captions. It does not edit for you automatically; you stay in control of every cut.
What export formats and sizes are supported?
H.264 MP4 in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5, at 1080p or 4K (3840x2160 for landscape). Pick the shape when you create the project and the export matches it.
Can it add captions automatically?
Yes. The editor transcribes the audio on your timeline into a caption lane, styled with a preset you choose. You can edit any word before exporting, and the captions are burned into the final file.
Is there a watermark?
Exports from a free account carry a small AI-generated label with the PrismPoster mark. Any credit pack removes it, except on real-person likeness work made with the Standard engine. On every account, generated files keep machine-readable AI-provenance metadata so platforms can identify AI content, though a platform that strips metadata can remove it.
Is my footage used to train AI models?
No. PrismPoster does not use your uploads, prompts or exports to train or improve any model, and there is no setting that enables it. The AI providers we use are bound by their terms not to train on customer content either. The full commitment is in our Data Processing Agreement.
