Previewing and exporting your content
PrismPoster lets you preview how a post will look on each platform, then export the finished image or video as a server-rendered file. Exports come out as landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16, and every one carries embedded machine-readable provenance metadata. Once you export, you download the file and post it yourself. PrismPoster is a content creation studio, not a publisher — it does not post, schedule, or auto-publish to social platforms. That last step is always yours.
How do per-platform previews work?
Before you export, you can preview how your content looks per platform, so you can check the framing and feel for the placement you have in mind. This is a preview of the rendered result, not a publishing connection — there's no post button to a social network. Use it to decide which crop and aspect ratio you want before you commit to the export.
What aspect ratios can I export?
You export server-rendered files in two shapes:
- Landscape 16:9 — for wide placements.
- Portrait 9:16 — for vertical, full-screen placements.
The export is rendered on the server, so the output is a finished file rather than a screen capture.
What provenance is on my export?
Every export carries an always-on machine-readable provenance mark embedded in the file (IPTC, XMP, and EXIF for images; MP4 container metadata for video; ID3 for MP3 audio), on every plan — the machine mark is never gated by tier. Nothing is drawn into the frame itself, so the file you download looks the way you made it. Video rendered through the timeline editor also carries a C2PA signature, which cryptographically binds that provenance to the file; still images and raw generated clips are metadata-only. Because the disclosure is embedded rather than shown, telling your audience the content is AI-made when you publish is your own step. For the reasoning, see why content is labelled.
How do I post my exported content?
You download the file from PrismPoster and post it on the platform yourself. PrismPoster doesn't connect to X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or Facebook for posting, and it has no scheduler. (Twitch and YouTube connect only for live-streamer tools, never for feed posting.) You stay in control of when and where your content goes out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can PrismPoster post my content for me?
No. PrismPoster generates and edits content; you download the finished file and post it manually. It does not post, schedule, or auto-publish to social platforms.
Can I remove the provenance mark from my export?
No. The embedded provenance mark is on every export, aligned to EU AI Act Article 50, never gated by tier, and cannot be turned off. Nothing is drawn into the frame, so there is no mark on the picture to remove. See why content is labelled.
My export looks lower quality than the preview — what do I check?
Confirm the resolution and aspect ratio you exported at, since a crop can change perceived sharpness. For video, higher resolution costs more credits but yields more detail. See export quality issues for specifics.
