Video resolutions: 480p, 720p, 1080p, and 4K
PrismPoster generates video at four resolutions: 480p, 720p, 1080p, and 4K. The first three (480p, 720p, 1080p) run on SeeDance 2.0 Mini; 4K runs on Gemini Omni Flash. The higher the resolution and the longer the clip, the more credits it costs — so a short 480p clip is the cheapest video you can make, and a long 4K clip is the most expensive. Exact per-generation numbers are kept in one place; see credit costs by type and /pricing. Video generation requires the Creator plan or above; it's not on the Free plan.
Which resolution should I pick?
Match the resolution to where the video will live and what it's worth to you:
- 480p — the lowest cost. Good for quick drafts and tests where you just want to see the motion.
- 720p / 1080p — standard-definition and full-HD, suitable for most social placements.
- 4K — the highest detail, and the highest cost. Use it when you need maximum sharpness.
480p, 720p, and 1080p are produced by SeeDance 2.0 Mini. 4K is produced by Gemini Omni Flash.
How does resolution affect credit cost?
Resolution and clip length both push the cost up. A higher resolution renders more detail and costs more; a longer clip renders more frames and costs more. The two compound, so a long 4K clip sits at the top of the range and a short low-resolution clip at the bottom. We don't print the exact ladder here so there's only one source to keep current — check credit costs by type for the live numbers.
Why is video locked on my plan?
Video generation is a paid feature. It unlocks on the Creator plan and above, and is not included on the Free plan, which covers the Image and Music studios. If Video Studio is greyed out or hidden, that's the cause. See video locked on plan to confirm and upgrade from /pricing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the highest resolution PrismPoster can generate?
4K, produced by Gemini Omni Flash. The 480p, 720p, and 1080p tiers are produced by SeeDance 2.0 Mini. Higher resolution costs more credits.
Does a longer clip cost more?
Yes. Both clip length and resolution increase the credit cost, and they compound. A short, low-resolution clip is the cheapest; a long 4K clip is the most expensive. See credit costs by type.
Can I generate video on the Free plan?
No. Video generation requires the Creator plan or above. The Free plan includes the Image and Music studios but not video.
