PrismPoster renders video on two engines. The Standard engine renders 360p, 720p, 1080p, or 4K, in clips of 4, 6, 8, or 10 seconds, landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16. The Premium engine renders 480p, 720p, 1080p, or 4K, in takes of up to 30 seconds. Cost scales with both size and length, so a 4-second 360p clip is the cheapest video you can make. Video is available on every plan, including Free. An account that has never paid renders Standard video at 360p or 720p; 1080p and 4K unlock after any credit pack. Which resolution should I pick?

• 360p (Standard) — the cheapest size. Pick it for quick tests and for getting the most clips from your credits.
• 480p (Premium) — the Premium engine's smallest size, and the size of the Premium draft.
• 720p (both engines) — sharp HD for most social feeds.
• 1080p (both engines) — crisp detail for larger screens. Premium drafts are mastered at 1080p.
• 4K (both engines) — maximum detail for hero shots and big displays.

The Standard engine has no 480p size, and the Premium engine has no 360p. Every size on an engine supports that engine's full length and the same creative controls; a higher size renders more pixels per frame, so it costs more credits.

How do resolution and clip length affect credit cost?

Both push the cost up. On the Standard engine a 4-second clip costs 30 credits at 360p, 80 at 720p, 125 at 1080p, and 250 at 4K; each second past five adds 6, 16, 25, or 50 credits. Why does video ask me to buy credits?

Video runs on every account, including free ones — it draws from your shared credit balance rather than being locked to a tier. What prompts a purchase is running low on credits, reaching for Standard 1080p or 4K (a free account renders up to 720p; any credit pack unlocks the rest), or asking the Premium engine for more than the one draft. Starter credits are a one-time grant, not a monthly allowance: they are offered in many countries but not in Belarus, and unused ones expire 24 hours after they are granted.
