Refunds & your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of purchase. Within that window, unused purchased credits are refundable in real money to your original payment method. Only the part you have actually used is deducted — never the unused balance. PrismPoster has no subscription, so a credit pack is the only thing you buy. You can start a refund with the button at the bottom of this page. The full policy is on our Refund Policy page.

How long do I have?

14 days from the day of purchase (the day the contract is concluded). This is a statutory right and cannot be shortened. A longer or more generous review is always fine, but the 14 days stand regardless of any other clause.

Credit packs

• Unused credits are always refundable in cash within 14 days — credits are a means of payment, so an untouched balance comes straight back to your card.
• If you have used some of a pack, you are refunded the still-unused balance. Spending one credit never forfeits the rest. Only credits you actually spent on a generation are non-refundable, and only because you asked to start using them immediately and acknowledged that at checkout.

Subscriptions

PrismPoster no longer sells subscriptions. If you bought one before 29 September 2026, you can still manage or cancel it in Settings → Billing, and the same 14-day rule applies to its unused remainder. See is there a subscription?.

How the money comes back

Refunds are paid in real money to the payment method you used, through Stripe — never as re-added credits. For checkout purchases Stripe acts as merchant of record, so the refund reverses the Stripe charge you see on your statement. Your refund appears in your billing history under Settings → Billing, and Stripe issues a receipt to your payment method — that's your durable record.

Is there a free trial instead?

Yes — a free account is the evaluation path, with starter credits in many countries. There is no separate paid trial. Anything you generate on a free account still consumes real credits and is real, exportable output.

Why might my refund be less than what I paid?

Because only the part you have actually used is deducted — the credits you have already spent on a generation. The unused remainder always comes back. If you have used nothing, you get a full refund.

I used one credit from a pack — is the rest gone?

No. The unused credits in that pack are still refundable in cash within 14 days. Only the credits you actually spent are non-refundable.
