Sign-in and password problems
If you can't sign in or need to change your password, most of it is self-serve. Forgot your password? Request a reset from the sign-in screen and follow the time-limited link we email you. Already signed in and want to change your password? Do it in Settings → Profile. Changing your account email or deleting your account are handled in Settings too. This article walks through each case and when to contact support.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Use the password reset flow, which doesn't require you to be signed in:
- On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password (or go to /forgot-password).
- Enter the email address on your account. We send a reset link to that address.
- Open the most recent email and follow the link — it's time-limited, so use the newest one.
- Set a new password (at least 8 characters) and sign in with it.
If the email doesn't arrive, check spam and promotions first, then see no verification email — the same delivery checks apply to reset emails.
How do I change my password while signed in?
Go to Settings → Profile and use the Change password form. Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm. New passwords must be at least 8 characters. The change takes effect right away, and you stay signed in.
How do I change my account email?
Changing the email tied to your account isn't self-serve. Email support@prismposter.com from the address currently on the account and tell us the new address — sending from the current email lets us verify the request is really you. If you signed up with the wrong address and haven't verified yet, you can also sign up again with the correct one. See create your account for how signup works.
Why can't I sign in?
Work through the common causes in order:
- Wrong password — reset it using the steps above rather than guessing repeatedly.
- A typo in your email — confirm you're using the exact address you registered with.
- Unverified email — if you never verified after signup, finish that first; see no verification email.
- Signed up with a different method — if you registered through a social sign-in, use that same provider rather than an email and password.

How do I delete my account?
While signed in, open Settings and use the Danger zone to delete your account. Deletion removes your personal data as described in the privacy policy; for the full data-rights picture, including export before you delete, see your data rights.
